Presynapt Analytics is scaling our Melbourne operations and we require a technical Operations Lead to oversee our Level 11 Collins Street data hub. This is a high-impact role designed for a professional who can bridge the gap between raw data engineering and executive decision-making. You will be responsible for the integrity of our analytics pipelines and the operational efficiency of our reporting frameworks.
The Technical Environment We are looking for a lead who is comfortable working within a modern data stack. Your core focus will be managing the lifecycle of data assets, ensuring that our internal models are scalable and that our automated reporting stays robust under heavy load. You will lead a small team of analysts, but you are expected to be "hands-on" when it comes to troubleshooting ETL processes or refining SQL queries.
Candidate Requirements & Evidence of Work
Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python is essential, alongside experience with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
Project History: We are specifically looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in managing end-to-end data migrations or the implementation of automated dashboarding systems at scale.
Industry Experience: 4+ years in a lead or senior analytics role, with a preference for those coming from fintech or professional services.
The Offer This is a full-time position based in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. The salary is $118,000 per year.
