Anaplan Solution Architect

Key Accountabilities: Lead and supervise Anaplan implementation projects, translate business processes into technical requirements, solution design and documentation, guide and support implementation of models, security configuration, system integration testing and user acceptance testing Responsible for performing quality assurance on project deliverables, performance checks and compliance with guidelines and best practices Serve as the Anaplan subject matter expert within the team, able to resolve complex issues, provide technical expertise support, guide mentor team members and solution delivery Manage / support several concurrent Anaplan implementations with the ability to self-manage time across competing priorities for optimal results Responsible for providing development plan / timeline and effort to generate detailed resource plans & project schedules through sprint planning cycles Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop proof of concept models efficiently to establish credibility of Anaplan platform with the customers. Effectively & efficiently translate POC models into detailed blueprints, including associated modules, lists / line items, calculations, etc. Assist preparing technical proposals, identify technical scope, determine priorities and key milestones for projects Work with the internal Anaplan competency team to translate business use cases and develop apps and planning accelerators Comfortably able to handle client discussion and communicate well with all stakeholders Contribute to improve technical competency internally and people initiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training associates and fellow model builders Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Math/Finance/Accounting/Engineering or Business equivalent Certification in Anaplan and preferably a Master Anaplanner/Solution Architect 4+ years of successfully implementing Anaplan solutions as Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner 6+ years of consulting experience in enterprise software implementations such as Anaplan/Adaptive Insights/Hyperion/Cognos TM1/SAP BPC/Business Objects/MIS Strong expertise and deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling Expert skills in excel spreadsheet modeling, macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc. Ability to translate current customer spreadsheet models into scalable (low sparsity) multi-dimensional Anaplan models. Strong understanding of data/integration both inbound as well as outbound with source systems Working knowledge of end-to-end business processes and experience with architecting models for multiple planning use cases, FP&A, sales, supply chain, workforce, etc Deep knowledge in 2-3 verticals highly desirable (CPG, Retail, High-Tech, A&D, Pharma) Familiarity with Anaplan Agile methodology. Excellent client facing and communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and userfriendly language Self-driven with keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a self-managed environment Ability to develop documentation and conduct Anaplan training. 60 to 70 percent travel mandatory.
