• We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices
• Should be able to work and share inputs with other Senior & Junior engineers to bring out overall good design & quality
• Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential
Skills & Qualifications
• B.Tech or equivalent degree
• Excellent knowledge of Java/Kotlin programming language
• Design build, and maintain high performance, reusable advanced applications for the Android platform
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Knowledge of Camera fundamentals, Architecture, Camera operation flows etc. Experience in AR/VR is preferred.
• Work on bug fixing, improving application performance & quality. Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Should be able to work with UX/PM and Engineering Team
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience with data storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Gerrit, P4, etc.
• Experience in static Analysis and respective tools such as SAM, SVace Lint, etc.
• Good Interpersonal & Communication skills. Experience & exposure working in small teams as agile practitioner is preferred
