Core Responsibilities:
Implement high performance, reusable, and reliable Java based android applications with local storage i.e. SQLite.
Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Prepare documentation required for keeping track of updates and improvements.
Improve code quality and architecture to ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
High Proficiency in Java & SQLite using Android Studio.
Knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android.
Experience with local storage, threading and performance tuning.
Experience with different data visualisation and interaction techniques such as recycler views, line charts and pdf report generation etc.
Experience to write code optimised for different screen sizes and different android versions.
