Android Audio development Engineer (MTS)

Project Description
Luxoft is collaborating with a prominent HW SoC Vendor in creation of an Android Automotive BSP targeted for Automotive Industry. The customer wants Luxoft to do the board bring-up of Android Automotive on target SoC platform. Later the platform would be further included with more modules and features for Automotive market. During this duration, Luxoft would do the base bring-up of foundational components of Android Automotive (Audio, GFX, Media & Connectivity) that can be showcased to the customer during Embedded World.
Luxoft is looking for experienced Android Framework developers to enablement of this platform for the customer. This brings immense scope of development for Android developers and enthusiasts.
Responsibilities
As an Android Audio developer, you would be responsible Audio porting of Android Automotive.
Skills
Must have
1. Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in embedded Linux/Linux application/driver/kernel development
2. Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design
3. Good understanding of Linux fundamentals, Audio fundamentals, Audio HAL.
4. Experience in customizing Android Audio HAL, AudioPolicyManager and Audioflinger components.
5. Experience with Audio sub-system, Audio drivers, frameworks and ALSA SOC(ASOC), Audio protocols like I2S.
6. Experience with Multimedia frameworks such as Stagefright, Gstreamer, OpenMAX.
7. Strong background in embedded systems development
8. System knowledge, System Debugging
+. Experience with kernel mode driver programming in Linux
Nice to have
10. Experience with Any RTOS porting.
11. Experience with host to DSP communication.
