Qualifications
7+ years of experience developing Android apps using Kotlin Programming Language, Android Studio IDE, JetPack, and Compose frameworks, consuming RESTful web services, as well as contributing to automated testing, using native platform testing frameworks AndroidX Test, Mockito, MockK, Espresso, and UI Automator
Bachelor's degree in computer science
Participated in the release of at least 1 publicly available app participating from inception to launch using automated tooling: GitHub, Jenkins Core, Gradle CLI and Fastlane
Passion crafting outstanding experiences on Android using your strong understanding of functional programming and reactive patterns
Proven desire to delight our clients with the latest mobile technologies
Knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies used in crafting performant, resilient, and robust Android apps
Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure alignment to software engineering methodologies
Excellent understanding of Test-Driven Development and Test Pyramid in support of highly resilient and stable apps with a high degree of code coverage
Strong understanding of modern development principles such as trunk-based development, feature toggles, and branch by abstraction to support performant and collaborative engineering teams
