Job Description
• 6+ years’ experience in an Android development role (Android 2+).
• Strong Java 8+ and Android SDK knowledge.
• Experience with Android emulators.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Superior problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities.
• Flexible and self driven with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of revision control and code review tools like Git, Gerrit etc.
• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field.
• Comfortable writing robust unit tests, including edge cases, usability and reliability.
• Experience working in high performance Agile Scrum teams.
• Experience with Android Bound Services and Android Open Source
• Experience with distributed computing.
• Skills with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience working with international and remote teams.
• Experience with building accessible software – ADA, WCAG standards – testing tools: JAWS, screen readers.
