Embibe's early investors were Kalaari Capital and Lightbox Ventures. We recently welcomed Reliance Industries Limited as an investor. The founder, Aditi Avasthi, from University of Chicago, is an Indian entrepreneur who previously worked at Tata Consultancy Services. In 2012 she founded the edtech startup Embibe, and in 2017 she was named to the BBC's 100 Women programme. In April 2018, Reliance (India's largest private sector company) announced an investment of $180 million into Embibe to create the world's largest AI platform in education.
