This position requires at least 2-5 years of experience in the Android domain. This position will be responsible for designing, developing a mobile application. The successful candidate will be required to engage with all areas within Nielsen including Testing, backend processing systems, operations and partners around the world. This position is expected to bring industry best practices of source control, code review, automated unit test to the team.

Qualifications and skills
• Should be a person with minimum 2 years' experience in designing and implementing solutions in the mobile space.
• Proven record of mobile app development
• Experience in Java, Kotlin
• Experience in C/C++
• Experience in Android OS APIs
• Experience in XML/JSON formats and parsers
• Experience in memory / battery management
• Experience in Android ROM development a plus
• Experience with Android Studio for development
• Experience with using Instrumentation and Profiling tools provided by Android studio
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Test Automation
• Experience with Jenkins and Gradle
• Experience with developing apps using NDK
