Roles and Responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of android SDK, different versions of android and how to deal with different screen sizes and familiarity with restful APIs to connect android.
• Strong knowledge on core java, interface, abstraction OOPS concept.
• Strong knowledge of android UI design principles, patterns and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT.
• Familiarity with continuous integration knowledge of various android libraries(good to have retrofit, picasso/glide, firebase, job service libraries)
• Strong knowledge on SQLite database and realm for offline storage in application.
• This position requires some field travel within the study area depending on the project requirement.
Desired Candidate Profile
• A bachelor degree in computer science or another IT related field
• 1 to 6 years experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
