Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
2. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code as well as PHP & Nodejs
3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
2. Strong Working knowledge of the Google’s map and its implementation
3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
4. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
6. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
7. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
8. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
+. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
10. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
11. A knack for benchmarking and optimization
12. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
13. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
