We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. The primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will work alongside other engineers and developers on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential
Experience 3+ years.
Have the ability to work in an agile team environment and have a passion for building high-quality software.
• Can produce, and pay attention to detail for creating a great user experience and fluid UI
• Has strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Has worked on integrating apps with REST-based web services/data feed using JSON
• Knowledge of a version control system (like GIT) is a plus
• Hands-on Experience in Java and Kotlin Android development.
• Converting graphical UI into Android Layout
• Coding Android Apps for functionality and consuming JSON API
• 3. Ensuring compatibility of the app with various devices
• 4. Solving bugs and issues with the app independently
• 5. Making performance optimizations on the app to improve responsiveness and handle crashes
• Java, Kotlin, AndroidSDK, Coroutines, Jet Pack Components
• Knowledge of Flutter will be a plus
• Must be an experienced Android developer with at least 3 apps in the play store
• Must have at least Bachelor’s degree, candidates with a Computer Science background would be preferred
