Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our Mobile Development Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kotlin, a passion for mobile development and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build and scale high-quality scalable mobile applications for Android using Kotlin
• Work with Product management and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver projects on time
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and develop new features and products
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the best practices of mobile application development
• Stay up-to-date with merging trends and technologies in the mobile development space
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 2+ years of experience of developing mobile applications in Kotlin
• Strong experience with Android SDK, Android Studio and Android Ecosystem
• Experience with Restful APIs and integrating with Backend services
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming design patterns and software architecture
• Excellent de-bugging and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
• Experience with Flutter or other cross-platform mobile development technologies
• Experience with React Native or other hybrid mobile development frameworks
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Agile Software development methodologies
