Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with a solid understanding of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and MVVM architecture to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Android applications while ensuring the code quality, performance, and usability of the app. You should be able to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality and timely solutions. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience in Android development and should be familiar with the latest Android technologies and trends.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and MVVM architecture.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and usability of the app by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends, and apply them to the project when necessary.
• Work closely with the UX/UI design team to ensure that the app is user-friendly and visually appealing.
• Write and maintain documentation related to the project, such as technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes.
• Test and deploy the app to the Google Play Store and ensure that it meets the app store guidelines and policies.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and MVVM architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and services.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA, Asana.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of iOS development and Swift programming language is a plus
