Job Description
• Strong knowledge in core java and Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge in jetpack components.
• Strong knowledge in coroutine concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and APIs, a different version of Android, development tools, application lifecycle, asynchronous server communication, UI components and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Android studio IDE (Gradle system and module concept).
• Knowledge of AWS S3 for file upload.
• Strong knowledge in process development tools like Pivotal Tracker, Unit Testing, Code Coverage, SonarQube, CI/CD and design diagrams.
• Experience in web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
• Must have knowledge of Android SDK tool and Framework.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM pattern.
• Must have knowledge in Retrofit2, Dagger-Hilt.
• AndroidX migration and knowledge with latest jetpack components
• Analytical, Problem Solving and Decision Making
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, bit bucket.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Experience with memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Delivering across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test.
• Work independently, take ownership of problems within own area of knowledge and accountable for the quality of own work and team output.
• A proactive, team player with the ability to work in dynamic environments.
• Should be a very good team player with a go-getter attitude, results-driven, adaptable, inspirational, organized, and quality-focused.
• Highly motivated in both solo and remote team collaboration.
• Good interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills and able to communicate clearly. Ability to write clear and concise documents, etc
