JOB ROLEÂ
In this role, you will be working with the client on building Mobile applications and designing, developing, and researching technologies that set the foundation of various products.
You are expected to grow into a product development lead role driving quality, process, and innovation across teams in the long run.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Executing full lifecycle mobile application development
Architect and conceptualize the product from initiation
Programming well-designed, testable efficient code
Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Research, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of new and existing systems
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of mobile application development experience with Android
Experience with backend communication protocols using REST and JSON-RPC and device communication
Strong coding skills (Java / Kotlin )
Good working experience on Google Firebase Products Like, Firestore, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, Crashalytics
5+ years of experience writing code in Java / Kotlin
Strong NoSQL database design and query writing skills with a commitment to performance and efficiency
Working knowledge of RESTful API paradigms
Experience building distributed microservices
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, OAuth
Exposure to CI / CD
Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, and Github
Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Strong understanding of database and storage fundamentals
Strong drive for results, has good interpersonal skills, and is a team player who has the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up-like environment independently
Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
