Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our software engineering team. As a member of the development team, you'll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining user-friendly and engaging mobile applications for Google's Android operating system while adhering to coding standards and a robust set of best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and implement mobile applications utilizing Java and/or Kotlin
• Implement and create UI/UX design according to specifications
• Leverage various tools, libraries and APIs to build applications on Android
• Debug, correct and optimize source code to ensure the functionality
• Stay up to date with industry trends and development best practices
• Follow established coding standards and software development lifecycle
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical feasibility discussions
• Create technical documentation such as user stories, architecture diagrams, class diagrams, and user manuals
• Work closely with product managers and designers to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as an Android software developer
• Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
• Proficiency with open-source server and client libraries
• Practical experience working with APIs, debugging, and optimization
• Solid understanding of algorithm complexity and design patterns
• Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Ability to write modular code with focus on code reuse
