Job DescriptionKounsel is looking for an experienced Android Developer with Java and Kotlin knowledge. You will be working in a collaborative environment, with a team of engineers and designers and have a chance to work on a challenging product.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage native Android application.
Work with engineering team members to explore and create interesting solutions while sharing knowledge amongst the team.
Collaboration with other engineers to write testable, reliable code, continuously deploying to production systems.
Collaboration with UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver new features, enhancements, platform improvements, and bug fixes.
Recommend alternative approaches to solving complex problems and use new technology to achieve goals.
Technical Requirements
4+ years experience in Native Android Development.
Degree in Computer Science.
Hands-on experience in Kotlin, Unit test automation, Agile, GitHub, and Java.
Experience with Android SDKs, libraries, Jetpack Compose, Android X, etc.
Experience with Design Patterns such as MVVM, SOLID, etc.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Familiarity with 3rd Party API integrations such as Retrofit, Ok Http, Dagger, etc.
General Requirements
High-Speed Internet and the ability to join Technical video meetings during business hours.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of multi-functional teams.
Ability to collaborate and be a team player.
Availability to work during U.S. Business hours (EST/CST/PST).
