Our primary objective is to provide clients across various industries, including fintech, gaming, and marketplaces, with the means to focus on driving their core product development and top-line growth, unburdened by the complexities of combating fraud.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that integrate with our fraud prevention platform.
- Participate in the entire mobile app development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Translate design and wireframe specifications into robust, efficient, and intuitive mobile applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the performance stability, and security of the applications.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Stay updated on the latest Android platform features, tools, and technologies and incorporate them into the development process.
- Continuously optimise the performance and responsiveness of the applications.
- Collaborate with backend developers to define and consume RESTful APIs for data integration.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights and recommendations.
- Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain code quality.
- Keep up with emerging trends and best practices in Android development and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile app architecture.
- Experience with building and publishing applications on Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries and services.
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
