We are a startup in the EV Embedded Finance space, solving the needs of the niche but highly growing segment of Bharat. It was founded by two childhood friends with industry experience of more than 15+ years. Currently our small team comprises experienced and raw talent from IIT, IIM, DU with work experience from companies like Paytm, Bharat Pe, Sharechat. Job Description
We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both Android & iOS platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.
Responsibilities
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth and responsive UIs across mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
Skills
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript, TypeScript or ClojureScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle and Android Studio
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest and Mocha
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language and Android development.
• Familiarity with integrating native Android functionality into React Native applications using Java libraries.
• Implement smooth and interactive animations to enhance user experience and visual appeal.
