Job Title: SvelteKit Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and talented SvelteKit Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on SvelteKit, to help us build and maintain dynamic and responsive web applications. As a SvelteKit Developer, you will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility Description Develop and Maintain Web Applications. Design, code, test, debug, and maintain web applications using SvelteKit and modern web technologies.Collaborate with Designers and Backend DevelopersWork closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement user interfaces and APIs.Optimize Performance and User Experience.Ensure applications are optimized for performance and provide a seamless user experience.Write Clean and Maintainable Code.Produce well-structured, documented, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards.Participate in Code Reviews.Review code from peers and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.Troubleshoot and Debug IssuesIdentify and resolve bugs, errors, and performance issues in a timely manner.Stay Current with Industry Trends.Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the web development landscape.Collaborate in Agile Development Environment.Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and stand-up meetings.Contribute to Technical Documentation.Document technical processes, architecture, and guidelines for the benefit of the team.Mentor Junior Developers.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers in the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a web developer with a focus on SvelteKit and frontend technologies.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Svelte Store).
• Familiarity with API integration and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Version control using Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with other frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue) is a plus.
• Portfolio of previous web development projects is a plus.
