Android Developer
INDIA (Remote) | Full Time Employee

Experience range: 3-5 years
We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer to join our mobile app development team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building high-quality, innovative, and performance-driven mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to create user-friendly, engaging, and feature-rich applications that delight our users.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the product and design teams to define app requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications that meet project goals and user expectations.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization of Android apps.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the quality and stability of Android applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and bugs.
• Continuously improve app performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing.
• Keep documentation up to date for developed applications.
• Good academics.
• Good communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of Android apps.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and Material Design.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory but a Plus):
• Experience with cross-platform development frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source Android projects.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
