The Android developer will be a part of the SW Product team, this role is responsible for developing native Android mobile apps, and responsible for providing technical expertise in Android and mobile development.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of high-quality Android applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and responsiveness.
• Tech Leadership: Be hands-on and provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to the Android development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver robust and scalable Android solutions.
• Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills and contribute effectively to the team.
• Architecture and Design: Contribute to the architectural decisions and design of new features, ensuring they align with the overall product roadmap.
• Technical Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to meet project goals.
Requirements
• Proven SW development experience, at least 5 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
• Experience in common Android frameworks, libraries, and tools: Jetpack, RoomDB, Retrofit, Rx, Coroutines, Databinding, Gradle, …
• Strong understanding of how to structure code, patterns, development design, data structures, and development.
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• High Quality results - Attention to detail as well as good organization and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
• Self-motivated & have a strong desire to create a great product.
• Passionate about technology, a quick learner, and excited about learning and embracing new technologies as needed.
• High sense of responsibility and accountability.

• Experience in server development and SQL/No-SQL databases, Firebase suite (Firestone, RealTime Database) – big advantage.
• Experience in cross-platform technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile.
