Job description
Position: Android Developer (Android, GraphQL, Kotlin) - Hybrid
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid - 2 days on Side)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: DOE

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience building native Android apps in Java/Kotlin.
• Shipped one or more Android applications that are still available in the Google Play Store.
• Technical lead for the team.
• Played a significant role/lead in the delivery of complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience with JavaScript/React Native.
• Server-side development experience building RESTful APIs in frameworks like Node.js.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement sophisticated features in Client Android applications.
• Work closely with product and design teams to optimize the experience for the Android platform.
• Analyze and optimize Android applications.
• Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes.
• Manage code & configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls, code integrity, and work closely with the platform team.
• Analyze business requirements, storyboards, and similar artifacts of the scrum process, working in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds.
• Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with a high-level design.
• Lead the work of other small groups of three to five engineers.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues.
• Ensure the inclusion of business vision and industry trends to enable results that drive business.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting design and development issues and providing appropriate solutions.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Utilize standard tools for optimizing and testing code.
