Company Description:
Hanuvel is a market research and investment company which is investing in gaming platforms and media-entertainment companies. We own ticket booking applications under hanuvel. We have sub-companies into gaming and entertainment industries such as Legit Play, White Lotus and others. We developed games like Wild West Rummy, Teen Patti. We do handle government projects.

Role / Title: Android Developer
Experience: 3+ Yrs
Work Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

· Design and buildor develop advanced applications for the Android platform

· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

· Identify and correct bottlenecks

· Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

· Work with outside data sources and APIs

· Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code

· Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code

· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

· Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements:

· Min of 3 years of experience in android app development

· Must have the Ability to design/develop/support new/existing apps, and perform unit testing and integration testing

· Proven software development experience in Android App Development and Android SDK

· Solid understanding of the full Mobile Development Life Cycle

· Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

· Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

· Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

· Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

· Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

· Familiarity with continuous integration

· Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Skills:

· Android SDK

· Android Fundamentals: Kotlin and Java

· Android User Interface (UI)

· Implementing navigation

· Android testing

· Testing Libraries for Android: Expresso, Junit, Mockito, Robolectric, and UI Automator.

· Cross-platform application development

· Version control system: Git
