Android Developer
Company Overview:
ProenX is a Singapore-registered entity, with the development team based out of India. Started by serial entrepreneur Pavan, our global retail-tech solution company specializes in last-mile retail transformation through our platform called RDEP - Retail Digital Experience Platform.
RDEP helps retailers to engage, interact and transact with their customers during the shopping journey at the store or on the ecommerce portal through a SaaS platform.

Our team consists a mix of brand-building technologists, designers, data crunchers, payment specialists, industry subject matter experts, and marketers who:
- approach our work with curiosity and candour,
- align our offerings with the client’s "Customer and Employee Experience" goals,
- pride ourselves on working with responsibility and integrity.

Main Task & Responsibilities
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Proven software development experience and Android skills development
Proven working experience in Android app development
Experience with Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Experience with Camera, Location and Bluetooth APIs will be a plus
Experience should be 2 years to 5 years
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
