Duties and Responsibilities
Integrate GPS tracker devices by obtaining the required knowledge from the shared documentation and/or sample apps provided.
Implement and test the BLE/IOT connection and commands via BLE.
Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Qualification and Required Skills:
5+ years of relevant android experience.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
Good knowledge of SOLID design principles.
Development experience of Android app using Kotlin and Java.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Familiarity with Android Bluetooth Low Energy.
