Daytoday is a startup founded by MIT alums dedicated to improving the patient care experience before and after medical procedures. We work with patients undergoing complex medical procedures and surgeries, as well as complex treatment courses such as cancer care. Through end-to-end digital outpatient care plans created by our medical staff, we support patients’ preparation, recovery, and return to life through some of their most difficult experiences. Our mobile app provides step-by-step personalized care instructions and reminders, and live chat with personal care coaches.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
• 1-4 years of experience in Android consumer-facing apps.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and third-party libraries integration like Retrofit.
• Expert level experience with Android studio.
• Deep understanding of Java and Kotlin (preferred) with strong hands-on experience in best-in-class architectural patterns.
• Experience building well-architected components for complex and ambiguous technical problems.
• Sound understanding of Android networking and a proven ability to use local databases (etc Room/SQLite) to build a highly resilient system that operates irrespective of the network or device conditions.
• Experience with Git.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Experience with play store deployments
