The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience and possess expertise in building libraries, integrating system-level libraries, and have exposure to JNI (Java Native Interface) layer integration. It is essential that the candidate has successfully shipped apps to the store.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Build robust and efficient libraries that can be reused across multiple projects.
• Integrate system-level libraries into Android applications, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
• Utilize JNI layer integration to interface between Java and native code when necessary.
• Ensure app stability, performance, and usability through rigorous testing and debugging.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Extensive knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
• Experience building and shipping apps to the Google Play Store.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with integrating system-level libraries and APIs.
• Exposure to JNI layer integration for seamless interaction between Java and native code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
