Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with external data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Experience of 3 years in Android App development
Proficiency in Java and Android architecture
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Should have good knowledge of Java concepts, Kotlin, Android UI Design Principles
Good knowledge of SQLite Database and local database management
Vast expertise in push notifications using Fire base Cloud Messaging and integration of third-party services
Understanding of memory management and multi-threading frameworks specific to mobile devices - XML, JSON and Web Services
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles and patterns
Experience working with a source code repository (GitHub or SVN)
Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
Experience with RxJava, Dagger, Room and Livedata is a plus.
