Job Summary:
As an Android Engineer, your primary responsibility will be developing, maintaining, and enhancing Android applications. You will be working closely with the product team to understand the requirements and translate them into functional applications. You will also be responsible for designing, building, and testing high-quality mobile applications that deliver an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with external data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Participate in code and design reviews
Maintain high code quality by writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users and QA team
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Android development
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in developing Android applications
Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio
Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Familiarity with Android UI/UX design principles and patterns
Experience with Git version control system
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Google Play Store submission process and guidelines
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration
Knowledge of Firebase platform
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes

Salary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
