The candidate must be able to show Android apps s/he has developed as project work or in
spare time. S/he should be dynamic, willing to learn on the job and comfortable working in a
startup environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
S/he will be responsible for developing the mobile app versions of our in-house marketing
Software.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Good exposure to related tools for flashing, debugging and development.
• Knowledge of Material design, DB(sQlite), Firebase, Cloud Functions, Android UI design principles.
• Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, RETROFIT, JSON, XML).
• Experience with different design patterns like MVC, MVP and MVPP.
• Version control development using tools (Bitbucket, Gitlab etc.)
• Good knowledge of continuous integration and tools( Firebase).
• Familiarity with Google APIs, cloud message APIs and push notifications(FCM).
• Technical Knowledge of Core Java - Android, XML, JSON, SOAP & Android Native
• Experience with Android SDK & Android Tools framework
• Good knowledge of Android Studio &/or Eclipse in general and of Android Development using Eclipse in-particular.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working with HTTP API calls
• Custom UI development derived from the native Android UI set, animations in latest version
• Ability to write code with Android conventions & good code abstraction.
