Job Description
CensorX.ai is an AI-powered digital safety startup focused on protecting users from harmful online content and harassment in real time. We are looking for a passionate Android Developer Intern who is eager to work on a real-world production application and gain hands-on experience in building scalable mobile solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an impactful product aimed at creating a safer digital environment for individuals and children.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK
• Build modern UI using Jetpack Compose
• Implement MVVM or Clean Architecture patterns
• Work with background services and core Android components
• Integrate Firebase services and real-time systems
• Ensure compliance with Google Play policies and app security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of Android development using Kotlin
• Understanding of Android SDK fundamentals
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of MVVM or Clean Architecture
• Understanding of asynchronous programming (Coroutines)
• Basic knowledge of Android permissions and app components
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Accessibility Services or Notification Listener
• Familiarity with Firebase Authentication and Firestore
• Understanding of mobile application security
• Exposure to real-time data processing
Internship Details
• Location: Kalsekar Incubation Centre (AIKTC), New Panvel
• Duration: 6 months (extendable up to 11 months based on performance)
• Stipend: Paid (discussed during interview)
• Mode: In-office (Mandatory)
