Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
Should have a good command on core programming concepts (Object Oriented Principles and others).
Should be able to design and work independently with minimum guidance.
Tools: GIT, JIRA, Android source build system (Adb, Lint, Profiler).
Good blend of process, technology & people.
Agile Development Mindset.
Job Responsibilities:
Good understanding of the Core Android Architecture and Application Process Lifecycle.
Strong knowledge in Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, Android Architecture Components (Activity, Service, Broadcast Receiver, Content Provider).
Strong command on the latest Android Jetpack Architecture – Lifecycle Observer, View Model, Live Data, Room, Navigation).
Should have knowledge about the handling of localizations, device densities (pixel presentations), managing of android resources.
Familiarity with industry standard design patterns for most commonly encountered situations is a must.
A solid understanding of operating system fundamentals such as processes, inter-process communication, multi-threading primitives, race conditions and deadlocks.
Good knowledge of multithreading, process optimization, system resource planning in native Android.
Strong understanding and experience in Android development along with good knowledge with the Android SDK and with the Android Tools framework.
Should have knowledge about Android Inbuilt framework and classes.
Good understanding of solution designing
