Salary: USD 1,+50/ month (based on experience)
Expected Notice Period: 2 to 4 Weeks
Shift: US Partial Shift 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST
Opportunity Type: Hybrid (Chennai- Onsite, Post 6 months)
Placement Type: Contractual
Contract Duration: Full-time, 12 months

Roles & Responsibilities
• The role is Hybrid. Initial 6 months, you will work Remote then work from office, Chennai Location (Onsite).
• Are you a passionate Android engineer who loves solving problems? The company is looking for Android engineers to join the company(Fellowship of the Bids) team! On this team, we are customers obsessed and we're looking for curious, collaborative people who are eager to deliver best-in-class solutions and experiences for our customers.
What you will do:
• Establish and document best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, develop high-quality documentation, and build robust test suites.
• Own the overall performance and codebase of our Auctions products.
• Be empowered to lead and complete software projects with minimal guidance from managers.
• Respond to and troubleshoot highly complex problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Work closely with our PM, UX, and QA teams to deliver high-quality and impactful features.
• Be on call for production issues.
This Role Requires:
• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of mobile development or related experience.
• Proficient with Java or Kotlin.
• Proficient in using MV architectures
• Proficient with version control systems (Git).
• Intermediate experience with Gradle, RxJava, okHttp, Retrofit and Dagger
• Experience maintaining and extending an existing codebase, adapting to pre-existing patterns and tracing the code’s path of execution.
• Experience developing unit tests. Our Android projects utilize JUnit for all of our unit testing needs.
• Experience with build & deployment automation (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins/TeamCity).
• Experience releasing apps to the Play Store
