Role Mobile App Developer (Kotlin)
Experience: 5-7 years
About The Role
We are looking for an Kotlin resource responsible for the development, delivery and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of kotlin applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Responsibilities
• 5+ years of experience in Android/Kotlin development
• Strong experience on Kotlin
• Design & develop the Kotlin application as per desired specifications
• Design and build advanced applications for Android platform (Kotlin and java)
• Participation in the process of analysis, designing, implementation and testing of new apps
• Apply industry standards during the development process to ensure high quality
• Experience with Android SDK (Kotlin and Java)
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Own end to end product modules/features (from requirement to going live)
• Design & code review, troubleshoot & help team members on issues
• Gather requirements by interacting directly with the end users
• Research on open source framework/technology required for developing the feature/application
