Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications on the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring the highest level of performance, usability, and reliability of our applications.
• Responsibilities:
• Design and develop advanced mobile applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Ensure the highest level of quality in the applications by performing code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Work with other team members to ensure seamless integration of mobile applications with backend systems
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in developing mobile applications for the Android platform
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, Firebase
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for creating quality mobile applications with excellent user experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks
• Experience with React Native, Flutter, or other cross-platform mobile development frameworks
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
