Nextuple operates a platform for retailers to run flexible fulfillment of their digital orders, the company provides Omnichannel-as-a-Service with several apps and microservices. As a Software Engineer you will be a part of the Nextuple Engineering team that is building high quality enterprise class software for the retail industry.
Job requirements
● Function as a solid individual contributor on a high output agile development team
● Must be a team player. Work closely with the team lead and deliver upon the assigned tasks.
● Collaborate effectively with the distributed team
● Plan and estimate work to be completed
● Develop unit and integration tests
● Write technical documentation
Essential Skills & Qualifications
● Must possess at least 1 year of experience in Android development.
● Well versed (intermediate knowledge) in Kotlin/Android.
● Strong knowledge of Android SDK, architecture, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
● Familiarity with android UI constructs and push notification on android.
● Delivers software following the Nextuple Software Engineering Best Practices in agreed
timelines.
● Takes ownership of tasks and executes.
● Can do low level design and deliver programming artifacts.
● Contributes to organization building functions such as hiring, training, mentoring, team building
● Good written and verbal communication. Must be able to articulate his/her ideas and follow / paraphrase his/her understanding of functional & technical requirements. In the daily stand up meeting he/she should be able to provide clear update on what he/she worked on during the day, what he/she will work on the next day and if he/she is facing any blockers.
● Bachelor in Engineering / Technology (4year) or Master in Computer Applications (2year)

● Highly analytical mindset
● Capable of high performance in a two-week iteration cadence with frequent product deliveries
