Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Android Developer. As an Android Developer at AppX (YC S21), you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with mobile application development. This includes designing and developing Android applications, implementing software solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently and remotely.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience on Native Android App Development.
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin and concepts such as Kotlin coroutines, Jetpack components.
- Prior experience with multimedia application development including streaming audio/video servers and clients highly desirable.
- Firebase for push notification , app analytics and other cloud services
- Expertise in using view models and live data.
- Expertise in managing the end-to-end release process, including version control, deployment, and monitoring of Android applications.
- Experience in working with large code bases
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Curiosity to tinker around, explore new paradigms and strong zest for continuous improvement.
