We’re looking for an Android Developer to help take Fiix's explosive growth to a whole new level. We think most software is too complex, too many features with too many promises. We're on a mission to change that - to build truly superior software that changes the way people work. Major Responsibilities (What you will do)
Collaborate with cross functional Agile teams to design, develop and ship new features in the Android App.
Write clean, well-tested code to build new features, fix bugs and improve the performance of the application.
Participate in design discussions, peer code reviews and team meetings across IOS and Android.
Ensure the delivery of a high quality product by building, executing and maintaining automated and manual tests.
Be a team player in a highly collaborative environment
Competencies (Requirements/What we’re looking for):
5+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years of said experience in developing native Android apps with
You have a deep experience in designing, developing, testing, and delivering quality mobile applications.
You are familiar with concepts such as MVVM Architecture, Jetpack Compose, LiveData, Coroutines and Kotlin Flow
You appreciate TDD and have experience writing tests using JUnit and Mockito.
You are comfortable with using Espresso to write Android UI tests.
You take pride in discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies that maximize development efficiency, including tech outside of Native Android development.
You have a portfolio of apps that you’ve developed and successfully released on Google Play.
You are as comfortable writing applications from scratch as you are working with outside APIs and data providers.
You're a self-starter with a strong desire to work on a small collaborative team in an agile environment.
Education Requirements:
A B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent is ideal.
