Job Description
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Strong experience in programming languages Java, and Kotlin.
- Strong in Object Oriented concepts, particularly in collections framework, multithreading, and exception handling.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Knowledge of Room Database or SQLite Database.
- Knowledge of Views, Layouts, JSON, and REST Web Services.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Have published at least one original Android app
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
