Job Title: Android Developer Location: Vancouver, BC Employment Type: Full-Time Employee (30 hours per week) Annual Salary: CAD $55,000 – $65,000 ⸻ About the Role: We are a Vancouver-based AI-driven project under a technology incubator, focused on building innovative mobile products that integrate cutting-edge artificial intelligence. We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our core team and contribute to the development of our next-generation mobile applications. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR). ⸻ Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with strong performance and stability • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to implement new features • Integrate AI modules into mobile applications and optimize client-side inference • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code • Stay up to date with the latest trends in Android development and AI integration ⸻ Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with native Android development using Kotlin or Java • Proficiency with Android architecture components (e.g., MVVM, Jetpack) • Familiar with networking, data storage, asynchronous processing, and permissions handling • Experience working with AI-based features or APIs (e.g., LLMs, image generation, speech/voice recognition) • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) • Strong communication and problem-solving skills ⸻ Nice to Have: • Published and verifiable Android apps • Experience integrating AI/ML models or APIs in mobile applications • Interest in generative AI, AI characters, or immersive interactive products ⸻
