Microsoft is looking to hire software engineers who can participate in android application development programs for various services. We have apps for mail, cloud services, social and professional collaboration tools for individual and enterprise requirements. The apps are deployed for use by millions of users in an open cloud, or in secure private cloud. The applications integrate with large server side infrastructure hosted and operated by us in India. Qualifications / Experience :
1. Proficient in JAVA programming
2. Hands on experience in using RESTful APIs
3. Hands on experience in designing and developing micro-services architecture and containers,Object oriented analysis, UML and design using common design patterns.
4. Hands on experience in development IDE Android Studio, Android SDK, Firebase Test Lab Profound insight of advanced technologies for Android (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
6. Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL.
7. Familiarity with push notifications.
8. Complete understanding of SDLC.
+. Experience with Agile development.
10. Experience in mailing solutions and cloud services is a plus.
11. Experience with Material Design and Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices.
12. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
13. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
14. A track record of delivering successful complex consumer product apps
Desired Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with at least 4 years of solid development experience working on Android applications.
Must have at least 2 to 3 years of Java development experience..
A good knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Patterns is preferred
Experience of working with product, design and operations teams, learn and adapt is preferable
