About the Job Opportunity:
AirFi is seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our technical team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative mobile solutions for Android platforms, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable applications. You will have the opportunity to explore new technologies, optimize performance, and collaborate with a dynamic team to revolutionize the airline industry through cutting-edge mobile experiences.
As this is a remote job, we would also expect the candidate to have a reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace and be able to work in the timezone overlapping with the teams in the company.
Y our Key Responsibilities :
- You will be focused on developing and delivering high-quality enterprise solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-end experiences to our customers.
- Participate in iterative app development processes, contributing to automation, monitoring, and quality assurance to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in the Android app space, identifying opportunities for improvements and optimizations.
- Follow best practices in coding and development, learning from senior team members to enhance your technical expertise.
- Explore and experiment with new tools and technologies to improve app performance and scalability under guidance from senior developers.
- Collaborate with the Architecture Team and other developers to integrate mobile solutions seamlessly into the system architecture.
What we look for:
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in Android Application development
- Good understanding of Object-oriented programming concepts
- Solid understanding of Java, Android Lifecycle, Android SDK, Gradle Knowledge, Unit Testing
- Experience in using RESTful services using Retrofit, MVP Architectural style programming
- Good understanding of Thread Life Cycle, JVM Internals, Performance
- Have consistently demonstrated ability and commitment to deliver on major releases
- Exercised exemplary development practices, including design specification, coding standards, unit testing, and code reviews. Willingness to "go the extra mile" when needed
