FRND is funded by India Quotient and Elevation Capital and is closing Series A from one of the gaming giants of the world (https://elevationcapital.com/portfolio/frnd) At FRND, we are working on exciting ice-breaking features, virtual gifting & international growth with a first-principles approach. We are looking for core-team members to create the dating ecosystem for the next billion users We are looking to hire a software developer with 1-4 years of experience. He/She will lead efforts in building our frontend services with a little exposure to backend as well. Being one of the early engineers will allow his/her to work with the founding team to shape and build the product from scratch. He/She will be responsible for building and scaling our frontend (majorly android application and web framework) for our applications. Apply here Responsibilities: Android application for the above product. We use Kotlin as our primary language of development. Think of time-efficient implementation to make things work. Participating in the full software lifecycle, from initial requirements through QA and monitoring. Contributing to internal discussions on technologies, products, and processes. Requirements: Familiarity with the latest Android development guidelines. Desire to build a product and create impact on the daily lives of people. Zeal to learn and implement new technologies as fast as possible. Understand the value of rapid iteration and retrospection for engineering processes. Experience with backend is a plus. Experience with other languages like Python is a plus. Our stack primarily consists of: Django as backend. Android as frontend. Servers on AWS.
