Role : Android Hal Developer

Work Experience : 3 to 15 Years

Location : Ahmedabad, Chennai. Kochi, Bangalore

Must Have skills : Android middleware, HAL, AOSP

Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and maintain Android HAL layers, focusing on automotive systems.
• Work with Vehicle HAL (VHAL) and Power HAL teams to integrate vehicle-specific functionality.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to ensure proper implementation of HAL interfaces.
• Implement and optimize performance and power management features.
• Debug and resolve issues related to HAL and hardware interactions.
• Ensure compliance with Android Automotive OS and other relevant standards.
• Collaborate on OTA updates and ensure secure delivery of software :
• Strong understanding of Android framework, HAL architecture, and AOSP.
• Proficiency in C / C++ and Java programming for Android development.
• Hands-on experience with Android Automotive OS, Vehicle HAL, and Power HAL.
• Familiarity with hardware-software integration and debugging tools.
• Experience with Android services, JNI, and system partition management.
• Knowledge of OTA update mechanisms and automotive communication protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
