Tech Lead, Software Products

The Opportunity
The resource will be part of the critical and very important milestone project which will be built using the latest technology frameworks. Resource will learn entire digital onboarding process along with transaction processing. Resource will also be involved in integration process with other systems as well.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Providing technical leadership to the dev and ops teams, solving their problems, clearing technical roadblocks they may face from time to time
Exploring, testing, and making production-ready new technology components, software packages, DevSecOps tools and plug-ins which the team may never have worked with before
Writing Proof of Concept software in Java and JavaScript and other programming languages / frameworks
Leading the dev team about the quality of their code, tuning their dev and testing processes
Interacting with systems architects and CTO, translating their objectives into software specs
Translate business specifications to detailed software specifications, work breakdown structures (WBS) for new modules
Collaborate with field teams dissecting and analysing bug reports
Analyze and guide dev team to fix issues related to Application stability, security and performance
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
Five (5) years or more of industry experience in full-time software developer roles
At least two years of hands-on Java programming experience
Conceptual understanding and hands-on experience in design patterns, microservices architecture, RDBMS/NoSQL databases
Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms
Understanding of good system design: reusable components, extensibility, etc
Understanding of reliability, availability and serviceability issues
Track record and ability to self-learn, explore different frameworks
Desires to work as member of a fast-paced product development team having programming frameworks agnostic approach
Hands-on experience as full stack developer / mobile app development is a plus
Experience in multiple frameworks / programming languages is a plus
Experience/Exposure to DevSecOps tools and practices is a plus
Additional valuable qualities we look for
A computer science degree from a reputed engineering institute
Excellent programming and diagnostic skills and logical reasoning skills
Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting applications on Linux and Windows platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership orientation
Knowledge of information security, vulnerabilities and security tools
Conceptual understanding of Networking, IP routing
Experience working in a product development is a plus
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving of an active live product is a plus
