Job Description – Native Mobile App Dev - Android
Worthum Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is an IT services company that delivers meaningful business outcomes to its customers and stakeholders. Worthum is a remote-first company, and provides IT services for Web Application Development, Digital Services and Mobile Applications by leveraging the power of cloud. Worthum is looking for Test Automation Engineer for one of its reputed clients and the job description is as follows.
Native Mobile App Developer ( Android ) :
Responsibilities:
1. Understand the requirement from different modules of the application from Dev /
Engineering Lead and be able to execute the same
2. Should be proactive enough to think out of box on technical solutions .
3. Follow coding best practices and should be able to be follow the client guidelines on coding.
4. Work in collaboration other dev team members , participate in scrum meetings and be able to express any impediments , work at hand.
5. Ability to work in a remote setting, effectively and independently, to deliver quality results in timely manner.
6. Should be able to follow architecture best practices and branching strategies laid out by the dev/engineering lead.
7. Should be able to understand and meet client time lines / SLA .
8. Ability to deploy Apps to Play Store independently
Basic Qualifications:
1. Working and Strong Knowledge on Java / Kotlin
2. 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in developing Android native applications using Java /
Kotlin
3. Working and string knowledge of using Mobile SDKs , be able to independently work on SSO integrations .
4. Working knowledge on DevOps practices applied to CI/CD pipelines and integration of test.
5. String experience with integrating Java /Kotlin Apps with backend APIS
Nice to Have Qualifications:
1. Having development experience with latest version of Java / Kotlin
2. Experience with Azure and application development.
3. Worked in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
