About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team at Getinz. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality Android solutions that meet the needs of our users.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android (Java/Kotlin) development, with a strong focus on performance optimization and code quality. You will work closely with our architects, leads, and engineering managers to ensure seamless design and delivery.
In this role, you will also be expected to mentor junior developers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles. Your ability to collaborate effectively and communicate complex ideas clearly will be essential in driving the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git, and Jenkins/Bitbucket.
Develop scalable and modular Android libraries and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Mentor junior developers and promote code quality and security best practices.
Focus on performance optimization and ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to design and development guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Kotlin/Java for Android app development.
Hands-on experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flows, and Clean Architecture (MVI, MVVM).
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Google design principles, and interface guidelines.
Familiarity with Android Jetpack, SQLite, Realm, Firebase, and Play Store deployment.
Experience with RxJava/RxKotlin, testing frameworks like Espresso, and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of threading, memory management, and performance tuning.
Experience with ExoPlayer, Dagger2, Retrofit, and Glide is a plus.
Familiarity with Bluetooth, gyroscopes, and other sensors is a plus.
Experience in C/C++ and Android NDK is an advantage.
