About the Position:
The Contra Costa Health Department is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center's surgical unit in Martinez, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies
Assisting anesthesiologists with technical setup for procedures
Preparing patients and equipment for anesthesia
Cleaning and maintaining anesthesia equipment after procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an Anesthesia Technician training program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or CPR certification from the American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications:
American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) Certification
Experience working in an operating room environment
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress, and maintain attention to detail. The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and provide proof of COVID-1+ vaccination.
